This week
and I changed things up a bit. First, we invited to join us for the inaugural Black Ibis Social Club Live Stream. Second, because we were testing out the new software and format, we decided to make our weekly episode a free Black Ibis Film Club preview focusing on my favorite movie, Paolo Sorrentino’s The Great Beauty. We had a great conversation about a wonderful film, broke down some ideas presented in the movie, and now look forward to doing more livestreams.Starting in the next few weeks we will be doing all of our episodes as livestreams on YouTube and maybe in other place depending on capability. But fear not, the audio will be edited into our regular podcast format. Also, in the next few weeks, expect additional BIFC episodes, in addition to our usual weekly conversations. The Black Ibis Film Club episodes will be live streamed, and you can tune in for free, but the downloadable episodes will be for our paid subscribers only.
